Advantages of the Forest Fire Search System “GOLDEN EYE”

  • Scanning is performed from a tower of 30-40m high, automatically and without an operator (resources in manpower and money are saved).
  • A single trained operator on duty at the Central Command Station can operate up to 128 modules.
  • All-weather monitoring. FFS System functions 24-hours a day in all weather conditions (fog, rain, smoke, snow, etc.).
  • False alarms are minimized through reliable protection from interference, and detection in the medium-wave infrared region - MIR (2,8-5,2 mkm).
  • Detection distance of up to 15 km.
  • Area scanned with one module covers up to 700 km2.
  • Immediate digital map of scanned area provides exact fire location.
  • After fire recognition, the visual and aural emergency signal will be automatically transmitted to the Central Command Station. At the same time the exact coordinates of the geographical location of the fire will be marked on the digital map.
  • A flame source of only 3-6 m3 is required for its detection by the remote AOS, which enables suppression of fire in its early stages.
  • Video channel allows fire detection in its early smoke phase, and then provides a visual analysis of directions of interest.
  • The AOS station is autonomous and energy-saving. For power supply it uses a combined wind-solar generator (24V, 60-90W).
  • Data and information about fires can be transmitted from AOS to the Central Command Station and appropriate services via various communication channels (optional: GSM channel, radio links, UHF links, LAN TCP/IP interface or satellite).
